Day Twenty-Three

I haven't had much inspiration today, so all of my pictures are of the same thing: my little Christmas village. I swear, I took about sixty pictures (most of which I deleted) and picking my favorite wasn't nearly as hard as yesterday. Enjoy! I'll try to label the buildings for you.

Featuring the movie theater, baber/beauty shop, police station, and nursery

A corner store, cafe, and grocery store

Gas station, house, house, church

Police station and barber shop

This big white house is my newest one, sitting next to the little pink house that's from 1997, I think [Edit: I checked, and I was a year off. The house is from 1996.]

Two more houses. For all the buildings I have, I actually only have four houses.

The one on the end, the corner store, is the first little house I ever got. I received it on my first Christmas in 1994.

These shots are pretty green... maybe I should have edited a little...

The movie theater, hotel, and bank

The backs of the houses

All 17 of the houses in order of year. There were too many to line up on my desk so I had to use my stool!

I just noticed that this little gas station is in a lot of pictures...

The inside of the movie theater. I tried and tried to get a closer shot of the seats but all 3,000 of them were too blurry.

Inside upper level of the schoolhouse

A room in the hotel

Another room in the hotel

So, actually, it was pretty fun photographing all my little houses. They're so cute! Tomorrow I'm back to school, and after school I have to go to the orthodontist and then to a girl scout leader meeting, so I have no idea when I'll take pictures. Don't expect this many! :)

EDIT: I took a few more pictures and didn't feel like waiting to upload them.

The houses usually sit on top of my jewelry box in order of year

Daisy, Edward, and Frank were all laying the same way right next to each other and it was so. Cute.

Day Twenty-Two

Today was really an amazing day, photo-wise. I mean, it's still early afternoon and I've already posted on the project site! I had such a hard time choosing my favorite. Like, this was literally the hardest choice ever. I had to eliminate a bunch that I really didn't want to eliminate. But I'm living up to my promise! I'm posting earlier than usual and I even drank a Dr. Pepper.

I made and colored this little origami fox last night

This was in my top three favorites. I love the rainbow!

Daisy looked at the camera again! Wow!

I messed with reflections in the door quite a bit

This was also in my top three. I made that star this morning.

More playing with reflections, lol

My origami fox meets my purse fox, Doug

The shadows of a tree on the stone bench in our front yard

Some old dog toys outside

The sky was so beautiful today that I couldn't stop taking pictures of it

The blue is so clear and pretty... Ahh...

The view from the porch on our shed

The shadow of the tree seen at the top of the above picture on the driveway

Looking through the fence into the front yard

There's a staple on the first one from Christmas... we have to staple our bows up so they don't fly away

Looking down from the deck onto our patio...

Again, looking down. You can see my shoes in this one.

I thought the shadows from the gate on the deck were really cool

Taken from the deck. Yes, we have a lot of trees.

Aren't these pictures good? The ones of the sky are really great in my opinion. And I'm still in love with the rainbow on my shoe. ^^ I hope tomorrow's pictures are just as good. I need to go work on Girl Scout stuff with my sister... we've decided that with a few friends, we're going to direct this  year's day camp, so a lot of work needs to be done! DFTBA!

Day Twenty-One

Okay, so I had planned to post this yesterday with a message about how now that it's been twenty-one days, I've finally created a habit for myself. Obviously that habit is only taking pictures, not posting on my blog. Oh well, I can catch up on blogs, but I can't get missed days back. And I refuse to lie on this project. Even if the pictures are crap, I will take pictures every single day.

I had to write an essay in English. It made my hand hurt.

My sister's friend, Seth

A scarf I only wear sometimes. I should wear it more, it's pretty and soft, lol

I took a picture of myself using my mirror as a guide but it wasn't as good as I thought it'd be. Ergo, softening effects and hue editing, and a bit of a pixelated texuring.

Some of my earrings in my jewelry box

More earrings in my jewelry box...

And still more earrings.

This is Mumble. He lives on top of my fish tank. My mom says that probably scares the fish. ^^

Apparently fish don't know that they're supposed to stay still when they're being photographed.

Stupid fish, they're so adorable yet quick.

The big white one and big orange one parented the smaller ones. I loooove my baby fish!!

Ah, a better one of the babies. So cute!

And that's all for today. DFTBA!
