Spring is near! This is our plum tree.
Plum tree blossoms again
Can't remember what my mom said these were...Narcissus?
A dandelion!
I think this is a wild strawberry blossom
Wild violet! We have bunches growing in our side yard, but not all together, so sometimes they're hard to find.
This was my weird lunch at Montevallo's honor band. It's salad, mashed potatoes with random lumps, and turkey on toast. Who thinks of that?
Our music wasn't too difficult. I sat second chair.
Our practice room was tiny, though.
Where it says two players, first chair and I had a duet. It sounded pretty.
This is Montevallo's jazz band.
The string bass guy... he's my future husband.
They served pizza at the jazz party thing
There's a better picture of him! Adorable!
You know, I don't even know this guy's name.
After one of our practices, two of my friends and I hid at the bottom of a dark staircase, intending to play hide-and-seek with another friend, but he never came for us. Stupid Cameron. It was fun anyway.
The tree outside my English teacher's room
"Rescue window not to be used for ventilation." We have that window open all the time.
More of the view out her window...
On the first Monday of this month, the rest of the Phenomenal Squadron and I decided to have a quick camp meeting before heading off to the leader meeting. Instead of having a real meeting, we ended up folding two-hundred brochures and registration forms because the folding machine at the Girl Scout council office is no longer there. However, we did manage to give a lot away at the meeting. ^^
I don't think they realized I was taking a picture... This is Matthew, Abby, and Selina.
Selina got angry.
A friend's shoe
I finally got to put some patches and badges on my sash!
I even got a new pin for my thingie. Oh, and that's my Program Aide pin from when I completed the training.
My school had a "Kickoff To Spring Break" jazz band performance on the Friday afternoon before spring break. Look, you can even see my freshman pet, Fluffy! He's the fourth from the left in the front.
Bradford pear tree blossoms
I went shopping for some khaki pants. These were obviously too big. I was standing on my tiptoes.
