Days Fifteen, Sixteen, and Seventeen

Yikes, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry! I haven't posted in DAYS! But that just means more pictures for you :) Over the past few days I've mostly just been relaxing. It's been a long weekend and I've watched a lot of movies, put away a lot of Christmas stuff, and avoided my homework until the last possible minute.

This reminds me of my blue cat and rose picture. The cat is just on the other side of the windowsill.

I love how symmetrical this one is

A doxie!

Part of the weird statue at the Alys-Stephens Center at UAB

More of the statue...

A turtle at the base of the statue

This was part of a giant pot sitting outside one of the theaters. Wow.

The back of the choir concert program

I visited the hair salon with my mom

Ring pops! Hooray!

I hung out with Daniel today. I was disappointed that I was too weak for the only bow he had.

Look at that! It was really stuck...

One of the arrows shot right into the fence and left a hole

He got a bulls-eye!

He really liked this shot and I thought it was pretty cool too

Mind you, I eliminated several of the worst shots in order to keep this post from growing too long. I feel bad for not posting for so long. I promise to post early tomorrow... but don't expect this many pictures!

Day Fourteen

Ah, two successful weeks have passed, yet I have only 3% of the project complete, according to the 365 Project site. I spent a little bit of time outside today, though it's still pretty chilly out there.

Look, it's a-Mario! My piccolo. I hadn't played it in forever so I ran up and down a few scales this afternoon.

This picture was definitely a close second when I was choosing the best of today. These are the pulls on my fan, a duck and a bear.

An interesting view of the back of my backpack

A close-up of a small section on a doodle page I've been working on for several months at school

Part of the woods on my property

There's still some ice on the stairs to the deck. Thank goodness no one ever uses the deck or the stairs...

A different angle of the deck stairs

Our shed

Trellis on the side of the shed

There's ice in there too!

Today's best picture was pretty nifty. If you want to be my best friend forever then you should check it out. I might even give you a box of Girl Scout cookies... Lol, or not. DFTBA!

Day Thirteen

Oops, sorry this post is late... I got caught up watching a movie and completely forgot to post.

This drawing has been on my desk in German for almost two weeks now.

John Green!

The underside of a table in the cafeteria

My sister's feet on top of my friend Daniel's foot

My sister, Emily

A sailboat. It would have been a beautiful picture but I couldn't find the right background to support it.

My afternoon snack ^^

This one was almost my favorite, until I discovered how blurry it became when made larger. This is our pantry.

One of my lunch boxes, as seen in the picture above of the pantry

Yep, just keepin' this one short, since I'll be posting more pictures separately in a few minutes. Auf Wiedersehen!

Day Twelve

Ah, another wonderful late start at school this morning has put me into a pretty great mood. I woke up way later than usual and still managed to get in a few pictures before catching the bus -- thank God I caught the bus this morning. We missed it yesterday and instead of waiting a while at home, my aunt took my sister and me straight to school, where I waited alone for about ten minutes before anyone else showed up. It was very spooky.

This is the little shelf thing I have next to my mirror. It's where I start getting beautiful every morning. Apparently I hadn't put on my glasses yet ^^

I hate that this one is blurry, because these two are always doing this. They look like mismatched bookends.

One of the many staircases at my high school

An extreme close-up of a scarf I received for Christmas

My water bottle

I absolutely love this picture. This is my friend Daniel and he has no idea that I took it. I think the blur is just perfect!

Since it's earlier than I usually post, I unfortunately have yet to do my homework, so here I go. See you tomorrow! DFTBA!

P.S.: Please check out the project site! My pictures are BEGGING for comments!! http://365project.org/browndog/365

Day Eleven

Ahh, why can't we start every school day at ten? Well, we are again tomorrow! Woot! I had to drop off my band uniform from the honor band I was at over the weekend and I took my camera in the room with me, rewarding me with my favorite shot of the day... which you should check out on the project site... psst...

I baked 52 cookies for a party my mom is having at school tomorrow

This is my friend's German work and my second favorite shot of the day

More cookies...

I think I posted the blue version of this bird in one of the early posts. This one is for one of my friends, because he saw the blue version and liked it

Lots and lots of band uniforms ^^

Hat boxes!

Drum major uniform

My 100% completely healthy afternoon snack that's totally in my diet plan: potato chips.

Aww, they're sooo cute... This is Almond, Pecan, and China

The rest of my afternoon snack...

Apparently I find German so boring that I have to amuse myself with puns. If you don't get it, the German word for sausage is "Wurst" and it's definite article is "die," pronounced "dee." I hate sausages.

Good-bye day eleven, it's been fun. Can't wait to see what day twelve will bring. DFTBA!
